Izabella Effenberg is one of the few female vibraphone players in Europe and the first in Poland. Izabella is experimenting and moving between styles like Jazz, Classic or World Music.

Izabella Effenberg is one of the few female vibraphone players in Europe and the first in Poland.
Izabella is experimenting and moving between styles like Jazz, Classic or World Music. She also plays different rare instruments like Array Mbira, Glass Harp, singing Saw, Steeldrum, Crotales, Sundrum, Waterphone .
From 2014 she organizes the Vibraphone Festival “Vibraphonissimo” in the Region of Nuremberg. 2020 Izabella won the virtual Competition “Woman in Jazz Next Generation”. 2018 she has received the Culture Prize of Nuremberg and 2020 the culture support prize of Mittelfranken.
Izabella played for example with Lars Danielsson, Magnus Öström, Jan Lundgren, Katja Riemann, Nils Landgren, Vladyslav Sendecki, Wolf Kerschek, Susan Weinert, Nicole Johänntgen, Tony Lakatos, Efrat Alony, Torun Eriksen, Ellen Andrea Wang, Glass Duo..
